ONGAI MAPULANGA

Thirty-two year old Ongai is married, though her husband is in prison. That makes taking care of herself and their three young children very difficult. Presently, Ongai depends on whatever work she can get, as well as the kindness of others, to try to put food on the table each day. Now, after two years of waiting, Ongai is finally enrolled in the RWYS School for Women and is looking forward to having a skill that will enable her to take care of the household.
