RUTH MAKAWA

Ruth is a 32-year-old married woman with 2 small daughters, Rashida (11-years-old) and Fatima (9-years-old). Ruth’s husband is unable to find constant work, and the family often depends on other members of the family to provide for them. Ruth has been waiting to get into the Reap What You Sew School for a year, and she says she is happy to walk the 2 km to school each day. She dreams of helping her family through the difficult times, while allowing her children to attend school.
